ACT State Titles and Local Competitions
Team Urban shooters Rob Turner and Jaime Van Barbieri put on a show at the ACT State Titles recently.
Rob shot impressive scores of 1365 and 1362 to take second place in Mens Compound. Rob was shooting his white VantagePro.
Jaime destroyed the Australian 70m record with a huge 350 on day 1 to run away with the Cadet Boys Compound win.
Jaime uses a VantageElite.
Well done to these two excellent shooters.
Meanwhile back in Victoria Derek Jacobs put down a new double 70m PB of 702. That's 1400 level shooting.
Derek followed this up with a 1366 at the Chewton QRE.
Marcus Anear took out a DVA Matchplay tournament on the Saturday. After a slow start in the ranking he made a small peep change and dropped in rounds of 115 in the semis and finals to take the win. Rob Turner
